This year from August 28th to August 30th  the entire 6th grade went to Watha, NC for our trip to Camp Kirkwood. Some reasons why we went is obviously to have fun, to overcome fears, and for the new kids to get to know other kids.

Some things that we did were the pool, the V-swing, the zip line, and canoeing. These were really fun!!

 

We also saw this really cute pig!

And yes we did go during Hurricane Idalia so that was interesting.  Since we had a cabin right next to the lake the water definitely rose and we lost about a foot of land luckily they drained the lake because it was man-made so they could do that. We barely got hit though so it wasn’t to bad.
